The  Bishop's Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People mandates that all ministers, employees, and volunteers who have a meaningful contact with children and young people should undergo training in the detection, prevention, and reporting of child abuse.  The Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program provides this training through regional workshops entitled Protecting God's Children. We offer regular training sessions here at St. Clare's.  Please consult the parish bulletin for specific information about training classes.

 

Virtus Video Training (3 hours) for any paid employee/staff of the school, pre-school, or parish community or those with regular contact with minors.

Safer Spaces Training (1 hour) for coaches, catechists, parents, and any parish volunteers.
