Monsignor Joseph P. Murphy was ordained a Priest in 1954. For the next three years after ordination he did graduate work at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. From 1957 to 1959 he was a Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph's Parish in Croton Falls, New York. From 1959 to 1985 he was assigned to the Chancery Office of the Archdiocese of New York. He was Chancellor of the Archdiocese of New York from 1968 to 1985. From 1985 to the present he has been Pastor of the Church of Saint Clare on Staten Island. |
