  • Evening sessions 7:30 P.M. March 24, 25, 26 in the church 
Come at 7:15 P.M. to enjoy a session of Praise & Worship music before each evening presentation
Musicians who play at the Friday night Charismatic Prayer Group will lead us in 15 minutes of song that will lift your hearts and souls in praise of God.

Attendance at morning or evening sessions eligible for 2 Mustard Seed credits.

Gilberto Cavazos-González, O.F.M.

Dr. Gilberto Cavazos-González, OFM SThD is a Franciscan scholar, and Professor of Spirituality at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He is the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Hispanic/Latino Theology and has recently lectured in Italy, Chile and Brazil. As a Latino Spiritualogian, Gilberto has a particular concern for the relationship of Christian spirituality, Catholic social teaching and pastoral ministry. His academic research interests include medieval spirituality, Franciscanism, and liberation spirituality. He has spent a number of years working with the spirituality of St. Clare of Assisi and its contribution to the Christian understanding of liberation.

His books include Greater than a Mother’s Love: The Spirituality of Francis and Clare of Assisi (University of Scranton Press 2010), Beyond Piety: Christian Spirituality, Justice and Liberation (Wipf & Stock 2010) and Tradiciones of our Faith: A Resource for Intercultural Faith Sharing (World Library Publications 2012). His book Beyond Piety: Christian Spirituality, Justice and Liberation is forthcoming in Spanish.
